Titanium is a magic material, the perfect match for the ocean environment. Titanium is strong as steel, yet half the weight. Unlike stainless steel that rusts, brass that turns green or aluminum that pits and corrodes, titanium is a noble metal, inert in sea water. Even after centuries beneath the sea, a titanium part will look as it did the day it was made. That's why it's often the material of choice in environments where lesser metals would never survive.

Why aren't all regulators made from titanium? Titanium is a very exotic, expensive and difficult metal to fabricate. We've spent thousands of man-hours researching dozens of titanium alloys, and developing cost-effective ways to fabricate them. Atomic has introduced the world's only second stage regulator with all of the metal components made from titanium, at a price comparable to other premium "brass and plastic" second stages.

Atomic First Stage Regulators
The Atomic First Stages come in either brass or titanium. For most, the Atomic B-1 (Brass) will fulfill a lifetime of trouble free service. The Atomic T-1 (Titanium) First Stage makes for the ultimate lightweight travel regulator. Whatever your choice, both share these impressive features:

Compact Size

Large, balanced, flow-through piston design for stable intermediate pressures and high performance at low tank pressures.

Exclusive high pressure piston seal system is self lubricating for low friction and low maintenance. Service to 4350 psi with optional DIN connection.

Optional ambient chamber seal kit for freeze protection at low temperatures.

Enriched air compatible materials from the factory with no internal modifications needed. Optional EAN identification kit available.

Single piece computer machined body maintains perfect alignment of the piston and seat to eliminate creeping intermediate pressure problems.

Two high pressure ports and five-port low pressure swivel allows any hose orientation.
